I hope I wasn't the only brony that laid in bed staring at the ceiling for a good half hour last night wondering what I was going to do now that the season it over. ;_;
before i knew it Ponies had become such a huge part of my life. amazing really. these few months are gonna be rough. probablly just not for me. i'll probablly end up re-watching ever ep, re-reading every fic. yet i don't regret anything. I LOVE PONIES! and Luna the most~ Stay strong everypony! stay strong.
I didn't think i could ever miss any cartoon show as much as this, four months ago If id been told that I would Tear up at hearing a farewell song for a show starring magical candy colored horses I might have smacked a guy, but now..... ;_;
Farewell songs do get me in general, PMD games Lufia 1 and 2, you get to know the characters and then they're leaving so soon, too soon.. at least I know there are only a few months to wait for them to return, I guess its like I said I didn't see it coming but im glad it did :)
As it's been said many times before: "This isn't 'goodbye', but mearly 'see you later'."
Six months may seem like a long time, but compared to many other shows, this later will come. We've endured may sadnesses, many hardships, many trials.
This is but another that we will endure.
We have the good times and the bad, the d'awww and the bleah. We've been together through bright and bold, though the dark and cold. We've learned to love, we've learned to cry, and eventually, we'll learn little Scootaloo can't fly.
But no matter the problem, no matter the sorrow, we'll always remember ponies will still be there tomorrow.
Yup. Manly tears were shed here as well. Just remember, we're only bidding farewell to season one, not Friendship is Magic, not the joy it's brought us, and not each other. Season two will be here sooner than we realize.
@Anonymous You see, Luna knew exactly how dreadfully dull the gala is, so she wisely chose to avoid it and, instead, do battle with the pink plushie dragon horde invading her bedroom.
It was a fierce battle and a hard-won victory, but our beloved Princess Luna arose victorious and celebrated her illustrious victory by raiding the dessert cart.
@Marrock A-actually... that was, um... four weeks ago... Sis was talking to some ponies in suits and it got really boring. But then, suddenly, the pink dragons of Eastern Dragonia attacked the castle. Sis was trapped in the conference room with the stuffies, so it was all up to me to stop them!
I await the day, with bated breath, when furries start dressing in Friendship is Magic pony costumes. Then all things glorious will suddenly turn yiffy.

Oh man. I'm getting that graduation feeling again. I have never shed a tear at anything on television in my life before. But this feels like when you're graduation from school. And you're sad because you think you're never going to see your friends again. And you just... Baw your eyes out and eagerly wait for summer to end because you want things to.... Ya know, go back to normal.

@Narwhals' Bend That song is the only song to ever tickle my ear drum. It just hits the right chords and my whole ear resonates. Sadly, it only works with my ear buds. Gladly, I only wear the ear buds everywhere.
It's not really good-bye. It's just a break between seasons; like a good friend going away for a vacation, they'll return sooner than you think and the reunion will be all the more wonderful from the time spent apart.
