At first their would unadalterated loathing flolowed by Rarity making Twilight popular, then Twilight will defy gravity but in the end no one mourns the wicked.

Actually, during the fight scene #2 is spoofing, Keiichi & Rena realize how much they like competing against each other, and they start enjoying the fight itself instead of trying to kill each other. (An epic water-gun duel earlier in that story arc ended in a tie).
That fact is what helps snap Rena out of her "nightmare" mindset, to borrow the pony term. :)

Well KT, seeing anything Nazi-related makes me feel probably the same way you do about Cupcakes.
