Something I forgot to mention; I think there's another reason for rock farms in Equestria. Think:
Weather - Controlled by ponies
Day/Night Cycle - Controlled by ponies
Animal migration/hibernation - Controlled by ponies
Plant growth - Controlled by ponies
The running of nature in general - Yup, them ponies again, because nature's too stubborn to do anything on its own (except in Everfree).
When I thought of this, it suddenly made sense to me that ponies control rock formation as well.

#17 is one of my personal faves from this batch. It blends all recognizable aspects of the mane six together, without showing any but Twilight. The butterflies close to the baloon, the books behind Twilight, the gem poking out, the apple tree beneith, the rainbow in the sky, and of course, a cupcake.
Props to this artist.
