• Cutie Mark Fabric Designs

Fabric designs! Rarity! It fits! I dunno.

Anon McBrony writes to use to let us know that he's created cutie mark fabric designs. Unfortunately, ordering swatches of them is quite expensive, so he wants you guys' opinions on which ones you'd like to see made.

Check out his designs here, then email him at fabricbrony@gmail.com and let him know! These are really neat, trust me. Go take a look!

    2. I'd guess that RD and Trixie's will be a safe bet.

    6. I would prefer Luna, Nurse Redheart, CMC, RD and Celestia. But for a watchthe round symbol of Celestia would work perfect.
But most important is: Hows the design of the watch? Watch isn't automatically watch, ya know?

    7. I would love to get a few quarters of each and maybe make a quilt, with some solids thrown in there to tie things together, but I don't have any monies. :( However, they look very nice. I really liked Octavia's, and Zecora's, and the CMC... But I want them all... Maybe for my birthday I'll get whatever's for sale at that time.

    8. Ehhh. They're nice, but the way the marks are arranged is ugly. I think they would look far more pleasing with the marks more spread out and aligned in a diamond formation:

      x...x...x..
      ..x...x...x
      x...x...x..
      ..x...x...x

    9. Rarity, Twilight, Fluttershy and Applejack look really nice. Rarity is my favorite.

I don't like the ones where the cutiemarks appear in a square pattern that much. They would look more aesthetically pleasing staggered.

    10. I'd like a blanket made with the design of Zecora's cutie mark or AJ's one.

    11. I want ALL of them! Especially Zecora's.

    12. I agree with Pandora; it doesn't look right the way it's arranged now. Some of the cutie marks may look even better if some rows were mirrored too, like:
      >...>...>..
      ..<...<...>
      >...>...<..
      ..<...<...>

    13. I agree with those who suggest staggered marks. For designs like Rainbow Dash it might help break the "squareness" of it all by rotating the designs (in different directions) a bit as well. I'm thinking these would make a sweet set of curtains.

    14. Is it bad that the picture scares the hell outta me? I keep imagining I smell burning hair and melting electrical conduit.

    15. @Pandora You can do that if you select "half brick" as the option for the pattern arrangement. :)

    16. Fabric Brony here, just wanted everyone to know that you can arrange the pattern in different ways by selecting the "half drop" and "half brick" options if you don't like the default way Spoonflower sets them up. I've just ordered test swatches of Zecora, Luna, Celestia, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash, so I'll keep you guys posted on when those ones go up for sale. :D

Swatch, not watch. It's a piece of fabric.
