That demo is pretty impressive! The engine works very well, although I still think the hair is a bit wonky. The physics are wonderful and the pony models look really great.

Okay, I tried it and my computer instantly blackscreened and freezed. The first reset blackscreened at the login screen and everything normal on the second.

Pinkie Pie looks demented. This is due to my crappy integrated Intel GPU chipset. It can't even run Open GL and it does crap like this to a lot of games. I can't really play it like I should be able too, but at least this pic is interesting. No sky and eyes for me.
Oh, and I have a double monitor setup, maybe that's why it crashes?
Or maybe it's the AV or firewall messing with it... Of course I don't really dig the idea of deactivating neither to test...

Funny how the default hair is pinkimina. From previous videos it seems Pinkie's hair IS possible, if hard to reproduce.
If I had more free time, I would sink the rest of the night into trying to reproduce.
Man, making Pinkie's hair is hard! Medusa is easier though :D . I almost had it, but I made my curls too long and it turned into this giant mass of hair engulfing her body, while she hopped along in her own little pinkie way XD. Giant pink fuzzball hopping along... Epic! I am gonna be fiddling with that hair for hours.

so the good news is that there's a demo for this
the bad news, there's prolly no sky box or that you have to work it to be atleast good to users with around 2 gigs of RAM
suriously, I like the idea, but I'm having trouble as I let it settle, the hair disappears after it fully stretches out and only see were the hair was before
I dunno but you bronies, but I think you need about 4 or more gigs for this to work smoothly
but that's my guess, can't wait for the coder to make it a little less trouble for us fans ^_^

Compatibility is always a pain. You usually spend as much time making it able to run all all sorts of video cards as you do making the base coding....

It doesn't use that much RAM, I don't think you know what you're talking about. If the skybox doesn't appear correctly it's an issue with your video card and this program doesn't seem to support very many video cards very well.
Really cute demo -- Ran okay on my computer but it was the only major program running at the time. Eyes are messed up and creepy.
Use space to jump, hold left mouse button to run, hold right mouse button to get her to look at the camera.
A lot of people seem to like Pinkie with straight emo-hair. I guess it's easier to model as well.
After I jumped into infinity and landed on a cloud my only reaction was:

This plays decently on my laptop, but I'm getting the hell eyes problem too. Gotta admit, I was stupidly happy playing this.

Runs perfectly well on my end. Great Demo. I really enjoyed this. I would certainly play this once we get some sort of Beta version released.
As of now, the initiator has done a well round job with this. Give them time and they can create something grand.
If you are having performance problems, press L to disable moving clouds. This gives me about 60FPS boost (Though I don't really need it myself, but some of you probably do.)

Pardon, 140FPS boost on the ground, 60FPS if you get yourself on the cloud.
Dammit, every time she smiles at me, I catch myself grinning back like an idiot... Nothing legal should make me this ridiculously happy without a prescription.
I get about a minute of laggy controls starting it up then it all smooths out. Runs great on my rig, but mine is DESIGNED for gaming...
If you edit her hair with H you can modify the model to ressemble the normal one with the curled hair, she looks so great always.

To Mac users:
If you can't run the game on a Mac OS, keep in mind the fact that you can install Windows (as a secondary OS) on your Mac as well through BootCamp. Also, most Macs already have a decent Nvidia or ATi graphics installed with the system, so installing a Windows OS will allow you to take full advantage of that.
To PC users with graphics problems:
Get a new graphics card, preferably one that isn't Intel. A casual low-end Nvidia or ATi graphics card would do, if you're on a budget. (I have a GeForce 8400GS, and I had no problems with this one)
Runs nice after 60 seconds of loading with:
Win XP
Intel i7 950
6Gb ram
GeForce 9800 GTX
I think the demo might be prossesor heavy, as it felt like ages loading.

That was amazing, it felt and looked like the ponies should..
Yeah, One of the eyes is the wrong colour for me too (the left one), it shows up purple instead of blue, the right eye (the one obscured by her hair is fine).
However, I've also found if you jump off the edge of the map you teleport onto a cloud, which was pretty cool.
