Applejack is only at $660?

T'aint fair. ;-;

(If I had the money to burn, I'd ABSOLUTELY go for it.)

Winged Pinkie Pie is outpricing even Derpy? Amazing.

aw, poor applejack :(

Give it time, and Applejack's price will pierce the heavens.

But yeah, Twilight's final bid is probably gonna rival Pinkie Pie's.

wish i had that much money :( i would totally go for applejack or pinkie with wings

40 Years Later:

"Granpa, why do you have a picture of a unicorn's butt framed on the wall?"

"Oh that jem? I bought it to help Japan."

"Mom, I think granpa's brain is going bad."

applejack is my favorite. If i had an expendable income, id make sure she knew she was appreciated.

I was first bidder on both aj and twi, and now they're too expensive for me. Sucks.

And Twilight is already more expensive than AJ. Poor AJ :(

Lauren is about to make over 5 grand (maybe even 6) for a handful of quick sketches she made a few years ago ('cept Derpy). Da Vinci couldn't even hope of making that kind of bank selling his stuff back in his day.

>mfw I click Twilight and it says "Original Sketch: Pinkie Pie" at the bottom

Someone needs to fix the description of the Twilight auction. Currently it is described as a Pinkie Pie sketch.

Poor AJ only netted 600$+

I guess Faust decided to do some sort of personal sketch for lady draconic... hopefully the fans will understand the situation and not start mobbing her about this.

I'm surprised to see pinkie pie is beating derpy.

I SAY 5000$
:D

Already Twilight Sparkle is over 750 bucks. So the way I see it, my options are:
Getting food for the next two months

or

Owning a sketch of my favorite pony, Twilight Sparkle (FOREVERRRR!) and saving the lives of many suffering Japanese people.

I think it's obvious which I'll choose.

*starves*

If it weren't for the fact that this sketch was made before the show aired, I'd use it as proof that Lauren understands the fandom all too well.

Keep in mind the prices are going this high because it's for charity. People are willing to pay a lot more at charity auctions. I've seen friggin' 24 packs of Canadian coke go for $200 at convention charity auctions.

@zorinlynx hate to tell you this but I'd go that high even if someone was pocketing it all

@Anonymous That shall not be!... I wonder how much would they give me at a pawn shop for a Shakespeare original "lost" play. Hopefully I could get enough to get Derpy up again D=.

Wow, its so amazing that Lauren decided to make these charity sketches. I'm also surprised that there are fans of the show with enough dough to afford to pay these.

I wonder what a bank would say after a white, male 20-something computer gremlin defaulted on his loan, and figured out they couldn't take back collateral because he blew it all on a SKETCH OF A CARTOON PONY!

@Anonymous
most of those aren't charity sketches, they are original concept sketches. that's what makes them extra special.

@Anonymous

That's like comparing apples and jackfruit.

They're not remotely the same situation. They're less relate-able than apples and oranges.

Wow, the auction's stood still for like the past two days. Wonder why everypony stopped bidding.

@Bitbrony
Do you have two thousand dollars laying around to spend on whatever you want? No? Then that's why.
