That was a lot more touching and adorable then it had any right to be. To be fair, I'm a Luna fan, so reading about her being happy is always a good read.

IME (In My Equestria, that is,) yes she is, at least to some extent. Night is her purview, after all.
Once she gets settled in, there's going to be a couple of hours at dawn and dusk when her and Celestia's schedules overlap.
