[Crossover][Shipping][Random] I had to pass this one around a bit to really understand it.. Apparently its following a distinct Dr. Who style, so those that have never seen the show will probably be in the same boat I am. A fan of Dr. Who said it was really well done though! So lets roll with it!

Doctor Who from the Doctor's own mind maybe. Brilliant story.
Being a huge DW fan myself I can see it.
That being said, the author conveyed Twilight's panic quite well and I stared feeling a bit anxious myself.
I'll be honest. That story creeped me out a bit.
The idea that Twilight managed to live out every single one of her lives at the same goddamn time is the scariest thing I've thought about all day.

This freaked me out. I mean REALLY freaked me out. I don't know if I'm misinterpreting the ending or something, but...did the Doctor fail to help, or what? Did Twilight simply go insane from the event, and simply couldn't be bothered by it anymore? :(

An amazing piece of work. I didn't really understand some of it but the rest was genius. I had to re-read it a couple of times to make sure I got every third line right.

This is a Doctor Who spoof, but I think the author deconstructed the whole fandom in general too:

All these contradictions are true at the same time when you look at every fanfic here, together. If Twilight could see all that at once, she'd go nuts. Pinky probably already does, of course.

@Sandman and Phoe: Okay, thanks to your combined posts, I think I've come to grips with what happened. For some reason everyone (or at least Twilight) was seeing things how the Doctor sees them, and he made her forgot until it passed?

At first, Pinkie went insane. Then she got tired of that and became sane again. Very, very sane.
the whole use of "oh jk it was a dream" kind of fails do to the lack of imagery and structure of sentences.

this story's use of terse, quick sentences and dialogue does a better job of creating imagery than a ton of super explicit descriptions and exposition, which is what most people do

I do love the fact that everything anyone is doing is true at any given time.

I'm pretty sure that it's not 'just a dream'. The Doctor did something to her mind so that she could no longer see the...let's call them glitches, in the system.

This is a seriously Doctor Who-style work. I can't believe how horrific the ending is, especially with that subliminal final phrase!
I liked this very much, entirely different to a normal or even a random pony story. You have to know dr who to understand what happened, but the good doctor knows what he's doing. Most of the time.
call me retarded but I watch dr. who and still don't get this can anyone tell me what episode this is a reference to just so I can watch through it again (because I haven't watched dr. who in ages) and try to figure this out?
Creepy and intriguing at the same time. I want to know if anything happens after. Does the universe unravel or does the doctor save it? Does Twilight start seeing it happen again? I would really enjoy another part to this story.

I don't think the story refers to any particular episode. Twilight somehow figured out how to see 'What could have been and what must never be.' Doctor Whooves helped her forget.

Also, the story is awesome. The way it was written it kinda reminded me of the thinking process I go through when I write a story - the jumbled, disconnected parts and half-formed sentences nearly look like story notes of an indecisive author! :P

Oh God that nailed Doctor Who perfectly. Next Steven Moffat in the making we got here folks (Moffat was just a fan before becoming a once per season writer followed by the new lead writer after all).
Ok, my headcanon for this story is that Twilight was the Doctor's assistant before she started seeing the multiverse and that's why he's sad that he had to erase her memory. Otherwise, I don't see a reason for him to be shedding a tear that when he walks out the door. Just like with Donna Noble...
It took awhile, but I finally got it. I need to watch more Doctor Who. Great fic.
