Applejack said it, Ditzy was upset by it, so she moped around town until Twilight noticed her and asked what was wrong, so then Ditzy told her what Applejack had said and Twilight explained that it was just an expression.
End run-on sentence.
Also, I think the mane problem with this drawing style is the size of the eyes compared to the size of the pupils. The colored bits are too far out from the blackness.

Pinkie continues talking, and states "And then I said, "Oatmeal? Are you crazy?"" before realizing everyone else has shut up. It's within the first 30 seconds of the second half of pensivepony's upload of the episode.
And I just broke one of the laws of comedy and explained the joke. WHY ARE THERE NO SPOILER TAGS HERE?
