All good ideas though, I jsut didn't like them much.
I thought the last one was rather.. clever... and its the first time ive ever heard more than 10 seconds of that song, let alone the entire thing. XD

I HATE tooting my own horn or seeming egotistical, but the most important thing in an AMV is not staying on ONE CLIP for too long, and while the person who made Friday is great at choosing clips, he/she stays on them for too long.
Here's an Invader ZIM AMV I spent months on. Notice I fail with lip-sync, but have decent clip choice (yours is better BTW), and don't stay on clips too long.
You are more talented than me or most AMV makers. But you need to have decent presentation.

The last one weirds me out. It's a really good video, and the song is actually catchy, but I find those lyrics appalling. And I really don't think it's a case like with FiM where if I get over my expectations, I'll enjoy it. I already enjoy the song, but aaaaaarg needs to have the whole song performed with gibberish specifically design to have the same sound without actually being coherent English.
The second one would have been good in the beginning if the lop flap matched. About half way through, it was clear the creator had run out of scenes and was picking stuff almost at random.
I loved the third one. It was really surreal.

Well, it's a terrible song with a terrible message that I don't support, but DANG is number four catchy!
I'm just gonna tell myself I like that one so much because of Rarity. I think I'd rage against the song by itself, but with Rarity I can just focus on the catchiness of it.
The first one kindda bored me. I never liked that song to begin with and I still don't like it even with ponies thrown into it.
Same thing for the second one, especially the second one. I didn't bother to finish watching this because of poor song choice.
The third one. Well. This certainly was interesting. I watched the whole thing and as it turns out, it was actually pretty cool. I thought she was training to achieve her dreams and then you pulled an INCEPTION on us.
And the fourth one. I thought I wasn't going to like this, but as it turns out. The song is actually kindda catchy and it just fit so well with Rarity =0
I don't get it why people hate #4 so much.
Rarity was my favourite from episode 1 on and I think this song fits her perfectly, especially with the faces she puts on that go along with the chorus.
Call me a heretic but Dash is last on my list, tho that vid makes me feel like cheering for her.
Also: Someone should totally make a vid with Rarity using song by Meredith Brooks - "Bitch"

But that's the thing, it doesn't really fit her that well. The only part that does is "bitchy", and that only sometimes. Rarity has never sought personal validation through sexuality; to the contrary, she's got some rather romantic ideas about... er, romance.

I think the only reason why she isn't doing that "naughty and sexy" is because the show is meant for kids after all.
I always saw her as an older (compared to rest of the cast) experienced lady that can just twirl guys around her finger and make them do whatever she wants - just like diamond dogs but way more effective and seductive.
Probably You are right, not sexy but very dominant feminine nonetheless.

I agree that she's possibly the most mature cast member (neck and neck with AJ), and she certainly uses her attractiveness as a tool, but Lauren Faust deliberately avoided having any of the characters be defined by their relationships to men. This song is about exploiting her body for a power trip. Any resemblence seems pretty superficial to me. Rarity's an attention whore, not the other kind. :)
I respect Rarity, and the singer in "Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy" is not one that I could ever respect.
1 was pretty cool, if repetitive.
2 was unbearable. I actually hate that song more with ponies.
3 was absolutely freaking epic (Perfectly sums up some internal character depth and development that's been happening throughout the series. The only thing I could hold against it is that it was made before "Cutie Mark Chronicles" came out, which could have added some really stirring material).
4... made me a little uncomfortable. AND I LOVED IT. And then I felt bad about loving it.
Rarity kind of reminds me of Serena from Sailor Moon. Can't really say why, I haven't seen Sailor Moon in years but I think about it every time I see an episode centered on her.
