For those of you who don't develop or run your own website, really though, multi-million hits are incredible; I ran a gaming news page that had tremendous exposure and links via other major pages for -years- and only ever capped out at around 350k hits; just hitting 1m is a PHENOMENAL milestone!

I remember when we used to celebrate things like 200,000 hits, and 300,000... half a million seemed like this huge gigantic number that we would never get to. And then after the first million, we stopped counting in terms of anything but millions.

Seems to me like the counter has been noticeably getting faster on average the last few days. I think this next million is going to go by a few days faster.

'Equestria Nightly' was the name of a theoretical sister-blog to Equestria Daily that dealt with the more adult aspects of the fandom - rule 34, clopfics, and so on. As far as I know it was never more than an idea, but still...
just like i said a 2 million (but less inebriated now): great work for everyone who keeps this site running. I know Seth does a lot of work for it, and it's hard to imagine my morning routine (and lunch routine, and afternoon routine, and drinking-at-night routine) without Equestria Daily. Love everything the whole fandom has done for it.
