Dear Hasbro,
G3.5 is something you really need to place in the past. If you by chance managed to open your eyes and see (your eyes are open), you'd probably start working on FiM G4 toys. And believe you me, they'd sell like hotcakes! (Or cupcakes.)
Please stop rehashing G3.5 and just add the extra 0.5 to the generation you're making the toys about.

It's a shame that Hasbro really isn't trying that hard with these toys. They COULD make some really awesome stuff if they wanted to.
They could have at least given Twilight a tail, and not make her so bald.

Indeed; Hasbro needs to stop reusing molds and other products from previous incarnations of MLP, and redo EVERYTHING in Friendship is Magic style. Then I might actually buy some merchandise, because as things are now I don't buy anything.

On second thought, the head is looking way too big, as well. The more I look at it, the more deformed Twilight is becoming.
It needs a lot of hair. Then I may like it.

ok so, i went to my local tru and asked them about it. they don't know anything about any new ones, its not online and they weren't told anything. they told me it could possibly be a "big store exclusive" for now at least, since well... bigger stores mean better sales. so either i can drive 1h30m to my nearest 2 story tru or i can deal with it.

I just got back from TRU and no luck. They had a few 3.5 Pinkie dolls and that was it.
It's far from perfect but I still want it.
I would so buy all the push dolls if they actually resembled the Fim characters.
This just looks like some 10 second design one on the makers threw together to make a quick buck.
I'll be happy when I get my G4 Pinkie plush that's NOT in baby form.
But for now, I'll settle for this.

Poor thing. e_o I'll be on the lookout for nicer MLP merchandise to go with my 3 separately-purchased McDonald's Happy Meal toys. I mean, if I found only this I guess I might buy it and love it, but...I dunno, I saw better-looking little plastic ones at WalMart. Not based on the FiM designs, but with the FiM pictures on the boxes!

Well, the mouth and eyes are obviously different, but...that HAIR...her poor mane! D8
This is like ultimate laziness.
But I actually bought the G3.5 Pinkie one this weekend, and IMO it's so derpy it's actually really adorable. It helps that the little legs flop around like a rag doll, and the eyes look too wide apart from the front.
Also, once before I've split the seam on a pony plush and replaced the hair, and it's ridiculously easy. This one's bigger, so it would probably be even easier. Like, if it mattered enough to you to want to do it.
I wrote hasbro and asked about this. They confirmed that it is exclusive to Toys R' Us :(

I found a FiM version of Pinkie Pie in plush form earlier today, and bought that shit. The face is shaped a bit differently from the 3.5 version plush, making it look less like a deformed baby. So... a little progress, at least. Will keep looking for the Twilight one.

I was very excited once I saw that there was a Twilight Plushy. And then I looked at it...
they actually have replaced the gen 3.5 pinkie pie and twilight with gen 4 but their mains are still messed up all well :/
