Tara Strong (Twilight Sparkle's VA) Interview on 91.8 The Fan
I got an Email from someone over at 91.8 The Fan letting me know that they will be doing a live interview with Tara Strong (The Voice actor for Twilight Sparkle).
It's primarily an interview about her Anime stuff, but FiM is included
Hey guys, I'm the resident Brony of 91.8 and thought i'd send this in, This has also been posted on Ponychan but if you guys would spread the word that would be awesome.
I'm hoping for a huge turnout in our IRC/tuned in for this one, our IRC is on the Rizon network at #918thefan.
Welp, now I know I'll want my exams to be over by 5 PM EST so's I can listen to this between 5 and 6. Tara Strong has always been awesome and is even more so as Twilight Sparkle.

I'm a DJ over at 91.8 The Fan, and while I won't be conducting the interview, my show is on directly after the show the interview takes place in, so anyone who sticks around can private message me on IRC with the phrase "Friendship is Magic" and I'll give you 5 Shiny Elk Points (which is basically a useless fake currency I and others on 91.8 The Fan trade for certain services.)
They can be used for things including but not limited to: song requests (during my show), chibi drawings, short poetry, and someone has even opened up a Pokemon shop of sorts.

I did this of my own time, I am an S-Mod on their forums and also a proud brony, they know nearly nothing about Ponies and generally I'm one of the only ones that talks about the show in our IRC daily.
The person that interviewed Tara, Kanashimi, has never seen Ponies, nor am I going to make her watch Ponies because she does not want to, I however did ask her to atleast bring up FiM during the interview otherwise my bronies would probably cut my head off, which is probably why she called us a meme, and if you were in the IRC at the time you'd have called everyone there drooling fanboys of twilight as well, 109 people chatting live gets pretty hectic.
I e-mailed ED, Derpy Hooves, posted on Ponychan and FiMchan and even made a FaceBook group for it in my own time because I enjoy the show and thought my bronies would like to hear the interview as well.
But I digress, I guess me having a Rainbow Dash userbar/avatar/signature on our forums doesn't tell anyone that I'm a Brony or anything.
It was okay, Amui. Thank you for sharing the interview with us. The ending was worth it. Music was not bad. Though, it was not quite what I expected. Should have been more ponies
@Anonymous I'd have loved to, unfortunately I'm not an employee of 91.8 The Fan and am part of the Moderator Staff, to be an employee I'd need to sign an NDA due to the nature of what they discuss behind the scenes (usually about series' that haven't been released yet most likely, or a series getting a 2nd/3rd/4th/etc season) and legally I need to be 18 to sign an NDA, currently I am 17 (But I will become an employee when I do turn 18)
I'd love to get a chance to talk with Tara though, that would have been epic, and I'm pushing to get them have Ashleigh Ball interviewed too. (I have a feeling that interview would somehow be 20% cooler than even Tara)

Thank you for clarifying that you are just a brony on the irc and not a employ. That makes alot more sense I was just under a miss understanding because of that one post on the front page of the site. It mentioned that the person that made it didn't watch fim and assuming that spoke for everyone there I came to the conclusion this was just trying to get higher ratings. Im sorry if I offended and will try and not jump to conclusions in the future
the fact we got mentioned at all is pretty cool. It mite have even spread the friendship to a few non bronys that listened and again im sorry if I came off to strong. I really wasnt trying to be as mean as I was

I love Tara Strong. I got to meet her at some convention called Anime Overdoes (I think) right after FFX-2 came out. (She's the voice of Rikku).

Ah arizona time had me thrown off again, what an annoying time zone i live in.
Just listened to it. I find it funny that she had no clue the show had such a large following.
The interview will be available on the site and from their podcast within the next few days.
I think her first blurb sounded better than the second, even though she lead-in with Twilight the second.
