I really liked this. It was almost just like an actual episode of the show. Funny that it's the only FIM fic that I've read this year that didn't have at least some sort of shipping or murder/rape drama or meta-4th wall craziness going on. Not that those are bad, but I just think it's interesting that nearly NO one writes normal stories in this fandom.
I have no idea what the party cats are, but love the premise (just read part 1). There's a charm in the slice of life episodes that I see in this fanfic as well.
