unfortunatly i do not wish to lose the respect of my eventual brother in law, im not strong enough, also i live in a country where the pony Virus has not spread to TV yet, so i doubt there will be anyone with this stuff around yet, maybe next April, when im 22 :D

That's the idea. You stick them in cupcakes, and they look pretty, and then somepony noms the cupcake, and then instead of just trashing the decoration, now has a sweet party ring.
I know some of yall will just buy them so you can have the silly plastic rings.
On an unrelated note, I'm guessing the poor polling results for Rarity have affected her showing in merchandise...
