Pinkie Pie Toothbrush

Yes, you are in fact seeing that image correctly! I guess it's sort of a counter for her obsession with tooth-decaying sugar in the show!

This was found at Wal-mart, unlike everything else that is never released in the US for some reason.  I'm waiting for the Trixie one myself...

why can't they just release some accurate statuettes.
I don't usually admire my toothbrush while it's in my mouth.

I want this...

I can't help but think that Pinkie Pie would approve of people chewing on her bristles.

If they had a Rainbow Dash one, I might get it.

Kids, if you don't brush your teeth they will fall out...FOREVERRRRRRRRR!!

FUUUUU----

Someone should open a store with pony merchandising for international shipping!

Hehe, shipping...

Pinkie Pie in my mouth!...um..Yay?

Also, if Pinkie Pie had anything to do with it, the "toothpaste" isn't actually toothpaste, it's cupcake frosting.

what kind of toothpaste is "training toothpaste" anyway? some sort of non-cleaning paste you give to kids so they can pretend to brush?

Sandman said...

This is so strange, I would think that anything involving Pinkie would be more likely to give you cavities than prevent them.

@Anonymous
Training toothpaste as I know it shows spots that you missed when brushing.

DEAR MY DENTIST: GOODBYE FOREVER!!

@Sandman

Interesting...wait, why doesn't regular toothpaste already do this? not only small children have lousy dental hygiene, most adults only brush the outside of the frontmost teeth, then gobble half a bottle of Listerine and call it done.

Anonymous said...

Wait so...

That brush is so tiny. Would anyone actually but them for use? Or would it just sit around as a collector's item?

Anonymous said...

@Anonymous
actually training toothpaste is toothpaste that is safe to swallow., because kids aren't smart enough to understand that you cant swallow toothpaste, and due to that fact its also not as effective, but it works good enough for kids

What no Colgate pony? I'm getting kinda tired that companies are just slapping MLP:FIM on low quality merchandise. While, the fans have to make stuff worthwhile.

Cgeta4 said...

Brushie, brushie...

That toothpaste should contain at least 50% sugar.

Zarkanorf said...

I was thinking that it wasn't toothpaste but PURE, UNADULTERATED PINKIE PIE.

IN YOUR MOUTH.
ON YOUR TEETH.
AROUND YOUR TOUNGE.
AGAINST YOUR CHEEKS.
DOWN YOUR THROAT.

... derp.

I work at Wal-Mart, someone got one of these among other things. I though "Whoa, pony toothpaste and brush, mkaybe I should... naww, I'm sure word will get around."

Come home.
See this.

I would totally buy one under one of two scenarios:
1: If I were a girl, or
2: If I were manly enough to be able to own one without the opinions of others bothering me. I don't meet the requirements of either scenario, mainly because I am a guy. A socially-awkward, shy, physically-weak guy, who can really only take chances when behind the veil of the Internet. But don't let my social handicap ruin everyone else's inclination to own a pinkie-pie toothbrush.

tl;dr I'd buy a Twilight one.

Anonymous said...

Does it taste like Pinkie Pie?

@Anonymous
I always swallow my toothpaste. Am I going to die from this?

Sandman said...

@Anonymous
Not from a normal sized amount, if you ate like half the tube then maybe. It's a problem for kids because they're small and in comparison to their body mass it's a much higher dosage than it would be for adults.
I know I've swallowed the toothpaste when I was in a hurry and couldn't spit (i.e. brushing in the car) and felt no ill effects.

I usually dream things like this.. I just opened this article 7 times by now just to confirm this is not another of that weird dreams.. WTF is happening to me? Is anyone else dreaming about MLP:FiM inexistent merchandise?

Anonymous said...

@Anonymous
I know that feel bro.

That picture of Pinky Pie is guaranteed to make this toothpaste 20% more effective!

Anonymous said...

"Hi kids! I'm Pinkie Pie!"

"Brushing your teeth is important! Always brush your teeth!"

"Brush your teeth with sugar and magic! Sing while you brush!"

...actually a Pinkiebrush that sings while you use it would be something I can see someone making. Just stick a chiptunes arrangement into the handle and link it to a moisture sensor in the bristles. I had a chiptunes santa on a stick that did that kind of thing. It was super annoying.

Shadow Phoenix said...

I might have bought this, but I remember seeing the kid's training toothbrushes in the mall and noticing how small they are. This is why we need more FiM toys. Useful things will be designed for kids, so they'll be useless to older fans.

When I go to the stores now I scan for MLP merch. Like Easter chocolate (nope. maybe next year?), shampoo (nope), toothpaste (not last time I looked) and so on. It's only a matter of time before this stuff pops up. I mean, I have Bambi tooth paste tubes from 20 years ago and there was a chocolate Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron in 2003, so let there be merch!

they should have used that fanmade toothpaste pony xD

@Anonymous Dude... don't swallow your toothpaste. It's not food. It's formulated to clean teeth. It's not good for your internal organs.

Cool!
If a Rainbow dash comes out, the first chance i get it will be mine!!!

Ya know, I WILL need a new toothbrush soon, my bristles are getting all wonky...next time I'm at Wal*Mart I'll be on the lookout. For anything FiM, of course.

Toothpaste for adults and older kids have fluoride in it. Which is bad if swallowed. Especially for little kids.

Training toothpaste a fluoride free toothpaste for smaller children, whose adult teeth haven't come in yet so they can get the hang of brushing their teeth without swallowing their tooth paste.

You can go online to orajel to find locations on where you can buy My Little Pony training toothpaste.

But remember it isn't going to be as affective as regular toothpaste, as its intended for children to learn how to properly brush and clean, while at the same time, if they get cavities, those teeth will fall out.

it should be Colgate on it *hint* *hint* you know brushie brushie brushie :D

I think my daughter would love that Pinkie Pie toothbrush. Having fun and cool looking tooth brush will encourage children on brushing their teeth. My dentist also said that brushing teeth can be fun.

Amarant said...

That is so true, Daniel. The best way to get kids to start brushing their teeth eagerly and regularly is to give them attractive and cute toothbrush.

I agree with the last comment. The introduction of kiddie stuffs for dental purposes is a great way to make them a responsible individual in the future. This is also a good start to help them practice good and proper dental hygiene.

My Little Pony merchandize would surely be very appealing to young girls. I'd have lesser trouble encouraging my little angel to brush her teeth with this one.
