I can't tell if it's bad quality source sound, or really bad quality encoding. And it's not just youtube, the downloadable mp3 sounds exactly the same. A pity too, as I liked the mix, but the low quality isn't exactly easy on the ears to want to listen to it again.
That was god awful.

Blegh. I'll have to echo everyone else. The static makes this sound AWFUL. If it didn't have that horrible static sound, I'd probably like it. But my sensitive ears can't stand the static at all.

the site has some real good music on it just this made my ears bleed, also ya its furry but much better quality.
Now, I usually appreciate unique beats and stuff in this kinda music, but this is kinda... I don't see anything thats really good in it. The static really kills it off the bat, the overall sort of... I wanna say mashup vibe it has is decent, (hells, I LOVE night of pony still) but it doesn't redeem it for me. Also, I don't fully get the naming of it, got to about the 2nd minute before I lost interest though...
Overall, the guy sounds to have potential, as this is though, I don't really like it.
At first I didn't like it but about halfway in I started to dig the static. I think he went a little overboard but it's pretty cool.

i am a huge renard fan, but he has this thing for noise. he may take a perfectly good song and just amp it up to unbearablenessity.

Renard is notorious for pushing boundaries of what we think about as music on a constant basis. Sometimes this means orgasmic things you've never heard before, sometimes this means noise you can't listen to, and whether it's one or the other varies between songs and people.

I enjoyed it. Not super amazing, but I don't regret hearing it. Static didn't really bother me but I do feel like the intensity of it detracts a bit from the entire thing.

I think people are being overly harsh here. While I admit I don't think this track really gelled and it's not one of his better remixes, there's no need to trash it like so many are doing here. Calling it crap, shit, awful...c'mon guys, a fellow bronie, from the video description, put some effort into making something for us to enjoy. I'm not saying you should lie and say you like it if you don't, or not comment, but you can at least not be mean when expressing your opinion of it, can't you?

Been a Renard fan for ages, and this is definitely a niche track.
The huge amounts of distortion are to cover up the instrumental, and Renard is a fan of distorted audio.
And to the brony above me, this isn't HHC (not trying to start anything), it's Renard's take on a genre called raggacore.
Okay I just thought I'd mention considering how many people didn't like this that I liked it A LOT. It took me a few listens to get used to the static (and I'm still not a fan of the static), but overall I just like it and think that needs to be said with all the hate being thrown around.

Huh, I used to hate this, but now I love it. It just takes time to grow on you, I guess.
My problem isn't the static. It's that the static is *only* on the MLP segments- the other parts of the mashup are pretty damn clear, so it's really jarring the moment any native MLP sound kicks in with a burst full of static.
I love it, the intentional static doesn't bother me at all :)

The static in this song is nothing. There are FAR more noisier breakcore songs than this. Of course, if you're not into this kind of thing, it can be painful to the ears.
Personally, though, I think this song lacks the punch that other Renard songs have. I think DTRX's remix of this is much better:

Classic!! This was the very first Brony Remix I ever liked enough to download. Its crazy, it was just 6 months ago but I get serious nostalgia thinking about my first few brony weeks. Such a great fandom.
The music wasn't that or loud to me, and I usually can't cope well with really loud stuff.
