• Discussion: What Will You Do Without Ponies?

    I know a lot of you are probably in the same boat as me, and spend way too much time with pony everything.

    With season 1 coming to a close in a few weeks, and season 2 way off on the horizon (December potentially unless they release episodes before the intended due date), it looks like the next half a year is going to be...rough.

    So what will you fall back on while waiting for new pony episodes?  Do you have alternate hobbies that will stop being ignored?  Or real life friends you have neglected?

    I personally got a job at Blockbuster specifically for free video games, but I haven't really bothered with any in the past few months thanks to these ponies. I have some catching up to do... assuming Blockbuster is still around by the time season 1 ends...

      Hmmm...haven't really thought about that. buy if anything i would...
      1)Get back to watching some Sentai. PIRATES!
      2)Get back into my spriting routine...Power Ranger spriting
      3)Play a few games that I have neglected
      4)GET A JOB! I mean, its ridculous. I'm nearly 18 and I don't even have a job yet!
      And, when I have nothing else to do
      5) Start taking some Pinkie Pie (it's a drug that isn't available. it contains a lot of winning)

      I have like a dozen videogames to catch up to. Also, I plan to watch the original G1 cartoon in its entirety (I did watch it back in the eighties, but that was an awful lot of time ago and I've pretty much forgotten everything about it, other than the opening theme).

      Read fanfic, play video games, read Homestuck, watch Gokaiger, catch up on Kamen Rider, play more video games, curse the sun, read more fanfic, get caught up with Nobody Dies, play stupid internet games, read/watch LPs, and so on and so forth.

      I have a lot of ways to murder time.

      I've been trying to make some friends, or at least get closer to the one's I have. I think part of the draw of the series is that it's such a good reminder of how amazing close friends can be. So I guess it would be pretty stupid of me to talk about how much I love the series and then go back to being a recluse as soon as it ends...
