• Comic: Twilight Sparkle's Name

    That name... The one reason I can't mention my favorite pony irl! At least Trixie's isn't immediately equated with sparkly vampires!

    Comic is huge again, so the link is below!

    1. Ironically, that is *exactly* how I stumbled upon FiM.

      I was in a vampire bashing argument and was looking for illustration for my opinion, so I typed the logical search keywords into google: twilight and sparkle. The rest is history

    2. I wouldn't mind seeing a comic of Twilight Sparkle breaking a few of Edward the "Vampire"'s ribs with a good kick. Hint hint drawfriends.

    3. New here. Seems like the new MLP show has worked whatever bizarre hypnotic tricks it does and now this werewolf fan/therian is a brony too.

      Poor Twilight Sparkle. Though who knows? She might be happy about it, secretly. As this'll likely make her the leader of the Team Edward cult. >_>

    4. Looks like Twilight has the same reaction to those books that I do, lol.

      Also, those panels where it's just Pinkie saying "Hey Twilight" over and over and over again are hilarious, lol.

    5. Did Pinkie's head jump out of a book?

    6. so much win! I loved these! Pinkie pie would be the best pony, if it wasn't for Luna. and the rest. ;)

      Uh, keep the furry thing to yourself, man. We don't care what gets your rocks off but we don't really want to know about it either.

      You can't talk for a crowd if you don't even have an identity, silly! Besides, that's werewolf fan, not furry. You're all mixed up there, you poor thing.

      Telling people to remain silent about their possibly embarassing interests. On Equestria Daily?

    13. Pinkie Pie: "Hey Twilight!"
      Pinkie Pie: "Hey Twilight!"
      Pinkie Pie: "Hey Twilight!"
      Pinkie Pie: "Hey Twilight!"
      Pinkie Pie: "Hey Twilight!"

      Twilight: "WHAAAAAATTTTTTTT?"

      Pinkie Pie: "Whatcha doin'? :D"

    14. My pony obsession has reached the point where I only recognize that "Twilight" can refer to sparkly vampires if I'm forewarned. Otherwise my brain defaults to the pony. This makes these jokes very confusing.

    15. the 2nd comic made my brain hemorrhage

      I never said they did. My, someone's being a grumpy numpy today and making a lot of baseless assumptions. Get out on the wrong side of the bed?

      @Fast and Free

      That was pretty much my reaction. Anonymous #1 is a SPY!

      @Anonymous #2

      I pretty much have the same problem. If one of my family happen to mention Twilight, I have to listen carefully and think for a bit to figure out whether they're talking about MLP or the book, since I tend to default to MLP too.

    17. To remove the stigma of a certain franchise, maybe Twilight should mention during an episode that she's 'in the zone'.

      Problem solved.

      Wow; not only did he not even say the word 'furry,' but lots of us are, and proud of it. There's nothing remotely wrong with it. DuskWolf made no sexual remarks for you to "know about," and believe it or not, furriness isn't ALL about that. :p -.-

      ON-TOPIC: That comic is WIN! XD I read the Twilight books after two of my best friends in the world RAVED at me that I would love it even more than Harry Potter. Well...they were wrong. I was able to get kind of into it at certain points along the way, enough to keep hoping for some improvement and to finish the books, anyway. But once done, I realized I was still quite disappointed. And now, looking back, all I can see is everything that disgusted me about the books and the absurd craze over them, and the movies. The characters and parts that I liked were not nearly enough to make me a fan. Fortunately, I have become so pony-obsessed and indoctrinated that any mention of "Twilight" now generates images of a purple pony in meh head instead of anything Bella/Edward-related. (Prior to the books I would've immediately thought of the Twilight Bark...or just, ya know, the time of day...) XD

    19. Wait a second, shouldn't Applejack be upset at these abominations that we dare call books, too?
      I mean, the first one does have an apple on it...

    20. There needs to be a sequel comic where Twilight goes on a Rapidash rampage burning every single Twilight book on Equestria... and then it cuts to pony Rod Serling delivering a closing monologue leading to "The Twilight Zone" logo.

      ReplyDelete
    21. Or maybe Rod Serling can appear as a human so he can ride off victoriously with Twilight Sparkle at the end.

    22. YES. Twilight Zone. Yes. That would've been the other Twilight thing I'd have thought of...8D
