This is great! You need somepony to go over your story and fix the remaining grammar and spelling mistakes, but the story itself is excellent. Keep at it!
I would just like to add that, while several other people had encouraged me to watch Dr. Who over the past six months,this is what convinced me to finally do it. I finished the episode "Blink" tonight, and the combination of the show and this story made both of them far more entertaining.

Jesus, this may be one of the best stories I've ever read--and that includes published ones, mind you. Your work is brilliant, and I found the characters especially well done, this (referring to Number 12) honestly seems like it could've been an episode of either show.
Although short, Traveler also has me hooked, and I eagerly await the next installment.
I really liked this fic, because it's a True Crossover. It manages to capture the feel of both a Doctor Who episode, and that of an episode of MLP:FiM at the same time.

Also an avid follower of MLP:FiM and Doctor Who, I have to agree with Steglad in that you have captured the characters beautifully.
The telepathy with Twilight was a good scene and looking into the mind of a being as old as the Doctor and all that he experienced would be akin to looking into a star. He isn't known as the Destroyer of Worlds or the Oncoming Storm for nothing.
I have to be honest though, I think I may have done a bit of a mental happy dance at how the Doctor snapped Twilight out of her trance.

Thank you! I try to keep everything in character as much as possible. And yes, the Doc is mostly patterned after the 10th, but I try to toss in a bit of the 11th and maybe even a little of the 4th while I'm at it.
Glad you liked the the Doctor snapped her out of it! I did it as a little bit of an homage to that art Madmax did. Though it may pop up again. I'm about to head into the future, and who knows what'll happen to the pair of them there! Wish me luck!

I think Twilight still has a remnant of her connection with The Doctor, that kind of experience doesn't leave one unmarked. She had power to begin with, but that fragment gives her the knowledge (or at least the intuition) of how to use it.
Again, this story exceeds all expectations and I set the bar quite high for Doctor Who fics. Wasn't expecting Twilight taking over, so kudos for surprising me.
Vashta Nerada are definitely the scariest of the DW creatures to me. Their name literally means: The Shadows That Melt The Flesh, and the fact that they aren't every shadow but they could be any shadow would scare the hell out of me and unbelievably paranoid. Course, anyone not aware of them would just think you're schizto, there's something you can't see that's out to get you.

As a fan of the 10th doctor, you pulled his mannerisms off amazingly. I always believed that it'd be quite hard to pull off the complexity that is Doctor Who but you didn't just accomplish that, but you did it with style. The Doctor as well as Pinkie and Twilight were characterized amazingly and the stories are different but similar enough to the show that it feels comfortable and familiar as if I were watching the real show. Thank you for giving me more 10th doctor goodness.

Just read Number 12, and it was amazing. Love the name thing, and I stomped in laughter when The Doctor questioned why ponies name everything after horses. (Gallopfray!) Twilight and Pinkie Pie make great Doctor's companions.

This needs a beta read, and the dialogue was a little tetchy in places, especially near the beginning, but what a cool story! I got chills in the scene where Derpy tells them where the letter came from. It was exciting and well-plotted, bravo.

Yes and it does it without betraying the spirit of either series it is just that awesome. I've loved Dr. Who ever since I was a kid. MLP not so much but it's got good characters, some interesting stories, and some wonderful easter eggs for the geek in me.

Amazing story so far, I'm fairly certain this was the only Doctor Whoof story I've read on Equestria Daily and it's still something that I enjoy completely. I love the thought of Rarity going along with the doctor, She actually fits quite well not that I think about it.
Having the Doctor in my own fic, I intend to look back to your work to get a better feel of his mannerisms. It's one thing to have him spout a few lines he's known for, ponyfied or not, but it's another to go off of his mannerisms and way of thinking to simply have him say anything you wish with the exact tone you'd expect.

Your writing makes me scared to read any other Doctor Whoof fanfics on Equestria Daily. I want this to be the official way the Doctor comes in to Equestria, because your characterization and dialogue is astoundingly accurate.

Hmm, I dont know if this was intentional, but if Twilight met up with Twilighttwo and nothing happened, does that mean that Twilighttwo isn't actually Twilight's future? No paradoxes happened, and we learned before that this universe isn't used to being manipulated through timestreams. This means one of many things: either you forgot that a paradox would result, the universe has gotten used to the Doctor in it by now, Twilighttwo is a copy of Twilight and not a direct future, or the initial paradox was something else entirely that was a lot more complicated than I initially thought. Anyway, still a great chapter, and I'm looking forward to more of this in the future.

@Ponies!!! There's also the implications of Twilight knowing exactly how her past self escapes from her and not planning accordingly. "Now, then, Dalek. Exterminate them. Wait, I've heard this part before, haven't I? Oh, crap this is the part where the doctor crashes a train into my factory, isn't it? Damn, I've known that for over 40 years, why didn't I plan on that?" See Time Crash for probably the best example of this sort of thing.
That could have also made for a funny scene like this, "I'm not you. You're a twisted abhorrence." "Oh no? Think of a number. Any number." (Both at the exact same time) "7. 13. 45. Applejack. Canterlot, Manehatten, Hooftah. Okie-dokie-loki-ramma-lamma-ding-dong."

Doctor Whooves is indeed quite Whoovian, but after about the sixth time he get's Twi's name wrong, I wanted her to start hitting him until he got it right. When Doctor meets someone new, they tend to follow him around dumbfounded, but for me that doesn't really mesh well with ponies.
I loved how the Doctor couldn't believe in what kind of universe he has landed now:
"So, she is a basicly a goddess, why are you calling her princess?"
"Does everything here has to be named after horses?"
"Equestria? You aren't kidding, right?"
"Fillies and Gentlecolts ... no way!"

Oh man, that was intense. These last two chapters are just paradox city here, and still no reapers have come. This makes me think that initial paradox is some huge really complicated paradox.
Also, I'm so happy Fluttershy is finally in this story (my reaction while reading: yesyesyesyesyesyes!). I absolutely love how you're giving each mane cast character their own role without making them all companions of the doctor. This is definitely one of the best fanfics on this site.
GAHH THIS IS WHY I HATE INCOMPLETE STORY'S!
I get caught up in a wonderful narrative that's doing its job in making me exited to read more, only to reach the end of the road with a under construction sign blocking my path. All the momentum ending in a big unsatisfied heap.
Please update and finish this story soon, my patience is being spread thin by all of these other story's that have me in the same bind.
I was putting reading this off for a while, now I'm ecstatic that I read it.
I have to say, my favorite part so far, besides all of it, was when the Dr. questioned how trains were invented before the steam engine. WHY WERE THEY PULLING THE LOCOMOTIVE IN OVER A BARREL?!
Anyway, tirade aside, this story kept me on edge the entire time, and I can't wait to read more.

I like the new chapter and am eagerly anticipating the next one. But, ah, do you actually know much about railroad technology? Don't worry, you left things vague enough that they'll still work, but there are some...oddities in your train design.

I would like to read this considering I love the doctor who series but is there any recommendation of any seasons to watch first?(I have seen the 5th and a bit of the 6th and just a tad of the 2nd.)
The old series or the new series?
With the old ones, I recommend Tom Baker, Davidson, and Colin Baker The other doctors were good, but those were the one that really stood out for me.
New series? Tennant and Smith are brilliant, but for Celestia's sake, DO NOT WATCH ECCELISON. It's like watching Steven Segal play Jean-Luc Picard. It's terrible.

I am very much enjoying this story, I was a Whoovian first, and a girl brony second. Once I found out about the Doctor being a pony... you just can't imagine. So I go scouring the internet for fanfics, and I found a real gem. But, as a firm Tennant/10 supporter, why "Onwards and upwards?" Why Not "Allons-Y?" Just wondering, because allons-y is my favorite quote and all... sorry for bothering you with my incessant Whoovian rant. :)

You have inspired me to finally start writing my own spin of a dr who/mlp fanfic (it was originally intended as a dr who/starfox fanfic, but ever since i fell in love with the mlp fim scene, I rewrote the concept to work with mlp. Oh yeah, and the last audio recording was fantastic, hope to see more of Berry Bubbles, Loool!
