Slywit and I have an idea that in the pony universe instead of a World War, they had a World Party, where the French tried to out-party the Germhoofs. With Pinkie Pie's great grandmother leading the charge. Where better to go for a date, then the largest party in the world's most romantic city?
ROFL! OK, look, Luna's not churning butter there. She's making mochi -- a Japanese confection made by pounding rice with a wooden mallet until it forms a sweet, sticky paste. In Japan, they don't see the man in the moon -- they see a rabbit pounding mochi (thus Angel's appearance.)
Ahaha, I imagine I'd be the weird guy who hangs out with Pokey too much for my own good. You know, were I a pony and all. I'd probably like him more as a character if he showed up more often in stuff. I kinda like the idea of him being Trixie's brother, since that makes a perfectly valid excuse for him to show up in Trixie fics.
Pinkie feeding Luna muffins is cute. I kinda like the look of the sketchy thing just under that, but I can't really tell what's happening in that sketch, either.
Applebloom playing with the toy is adorable. <3
The anthro Gilda/Dash smoking behind the wall kinda brings back mildly unpleasant memories from stupid decisions as a kid. More has to do with getting out of reach of supervision than anything to do with the rest of the pic. I really like the color choice. Strikes me as kinda pastel and somewhat silly-comforting. On the other hand, GURREN PONIES OMG. Reminds me of fairly recent AWESOME. Now I want to watch TTGL again, along with Slayers/Next/Try and Lyrical Nanoha, but now I'm veering off topic. I'm a one-toon guy anyway, and Ponies have my hooves full. (Hands. Whichever.)

Ok. I must admit: I freakin love this show. But there is a line, that nopony shall cross. Kharn the Betrayer? Smiling with balloons? And an Archmage of Tzeentch with a Rubik cube beaten by a pony who has no REAL magic? That is waaaaaaay too much to handle.
